What we store, and for how long
Only the fields you type, plus the exact consent wording you accept and the moment you accept it. We do not store your browser’s user-agent string, and we do not store your IP address with your request — only a keyed, irreversible hash of it.
One exception, stated plainly: if a submission is stopped by our abuse protections (rate limit, bot check, CSRF), the raw IP address of that blocked attempt is written to our security log, like any other blocked request to this site. That log is separate from your request and is deleted on the security-log schedule.
The survey questions are optional, question by question. If you answer them we store exactly four things: which journey you picked, which modules you ticked, what you say you use today, and what you say would make you pay. Nothing is pre-selected, and a question you skip is stored as unanswered — we do not fill it in for you. We use those answers to decide what to build next.
Your request is held in the EU (Frankfurt) under our Swiss nFADP/GDPR policy. Your name, work email, company, role and the consent wording you accept are also sent to Resend, our email provider in the United States, solely to deliver your confirmation and notify our team; your survey answers are not — they stay in the EU. Everything is deleted automatically after 12 months, and every confirmation email carries a one-click link that erases it sooner. Erasing also clears both free-text survey answers.
